ANNA WARONKER
Anna Waronker is a Los Angeles–based composer, songwriter, singer, and artist, best known as the frontwoman and primary songwriter for the cult-favorite band that dog. With a distinctive melodic sensibility and lyrical wit, Anna has expanded her creative reach into film, television, and theater—crafting emotionally resonant and stylistically original scores across genres.

Her notable work includes composing for the Emmy-nominated hit series Yellowjackets (Paramount+ with Showtime), School Spirits (Paramount+), High School (Freevee)—the limited series based on Tegan & Sara’s bestselling memoir—Shrill (Hulu), I Love That For You (Paramount+ with Showtime), and the animated series Harriet The Spy (Apple TV+), and more. She has also contributed to beloved cult classics such as Josie and the Pussycats and Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist.

In theater, Anna collaborated with Charlotte Caffey (The Go-Go’s) on Lovelace: A Rock Opera, which premiered at The Hayworth Theater and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She also composed music for stage adaptations of Hit The Wall and The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe (Los Angeles LGBT Center).

As a performer and recording artist, Anna has released two solo albums and four albums with that dog., including the critically acclaimed Old LP (UMe) in 2019.
Most recently, she has continued her collaboration with Craig Wedren on the third season of Yellowjackets, for which they wrote and performed the celebrated theme song “No Return” (winner of a Hollywood Music in Media Award) and an original song titled “Sleepwalking,” featured in the season finale.
Anna is currently writing for Elle, the highly anticipated Legally Blonde prequel series for Prime Video while waiting to begin scoring the third season of School Spirits (Paramount+) and the fourth season of Yellowjackets (Paramount+ with Showtime).
